Help!  We seem to be overrun with bunnies!
Can you help by adopting one or more?

  Ada

Ada is a medium-sized, spayed female, black Satin mix. She was about 5 months old when she arrived in October 2010. Ada was a bit shy at first, but she’ll be ok once she gets to know you and will even crawl around on you! She loves pets and getting a chance to explore.  Ada is a calm, sweet girl with excellent litter box habits, and would be a perfect rabbit for a first-time owner.

Agate and Alabaster
Agate & Alabaster are a bonded sister and brother pair and must be adopted together. They are both fixed and were about 1 month old when they arrived in August 2010 . Alabaster (black/white) is the shy one of the pair.  He relies on Agate to make him feel secure. Agate (brown/white) is more curious and outgoing.  She loves to explore and beg for treats. They’re an adorable fun pair and don't mind being petted and held too much.  Both rabbits have great litter box habits and will provide a happy house rabbit home many hours of entertainment.

Amber
Amber is a gorgeous, medium-sized, spayed female Cinnamon mix. Amber was about 2 months old when she arrived in September 2010.  She hasn’t had lots of human contact, so she’s a bit shy. She doesn’t mind being held or petted though and, with a little work, she’ll be an absolutely wonderful house rabbit.  She has excellent litter box habits and would be a great rabbit for someone with time to shower her with love!
Daisy and Violet
Daisy and Violet
Daisy and Violet are spayed female sisters.  Daisy is the white-and-brown Dutch mix that looks like a cow.  Violet is all white.  They both have beautiful blue eyes.  They are about 3 years old. Daisy and Violet are bonded and must be adopted together. Daisy is the quieter of the two. She usually follows Violet around as Violet does the exploring.  Daisy enjoys petting more than Violet does.  Violet is more vocal.  She likes to grunt her displeasure whenever you do something she doesn't like.  She's all talk and no action, though - just likes to pretend she's tough.  Violet is more outgoing and active, but prefers running around to getting many pets.  You can get her to come to you, though, because she's crazy about treats.  Both girls like to gang up on cardboard boxes and tip them over, which is so funny to watch!  Both Daisy and Violet have excellent litter box habits and would make a great pair of entertaining house rabbits!
Kimberly
Kimberly
Kimberly is a beautiful, spayed female, brownish gray and white Dutch/Dwarf mix with unusual and gorgeous blue eyes. Kimberly is about 3 years old. She is a spunky little girl with a great desire to explore. She's friendly and doesn't mind getting a few pets now and then, but her curiosity usually gets the better of her after a short time. Kimberly has good litter box habits and will make a nice house rabbit for a good home!

Amethyst
Amethyst is a lovely medium-sized, spayed female white and black English spot mix. She was born on September 11, 2010 and arrived at the shelter in November 2010. Amethyst currently occupies a pen with her two sisters Moonstone and Angelite.  She’s the quietest and calmest of the three, and usually hangs back when the others are diving for food or begging for treats.  She is easy to handle, enjoys pets, and would be a good rabbit for someone who likes mellow rabbits.

Flossie

Flossie is a spayed female Palomino mix. Flossie was about 5 months old when she arrived in August 2008.  She's grown into a buff-colored beauty.  Flossie was rescued from a park and was the rabbit that took us the longest to catch - she's very intelligent and resourceful.  Flossie's very self-confident - she might be a bit shy when put into a new environment for a couple of days, but she learns quickly and warms up to people fast.  She loves to explore everything - even laps!  She loves pets and attention.  Flossie has excellent litter box habits and would make a great house bunny for just the right home.

Patches
Patches
Patches is a spayed female, white and gray Dwarf and English Spot mix. She was about 5 months old when she arrived in August 2008.  Patches is one of several rabbits that were rescued from a local park, and was covered with fleas, ticks, and wounds, but  she's been cleaned up and is a real cutie now!  Patches was probably born in the park and is still nervous around people, but the rabbit volunteers have been working with her.  She's very calm and actually loves having her face stroked.  She has great litter box habits, and she'll make someone a great house bunny!

Angelite
Angelite is a pretty spayed female black and white English spot mix.  She was born on September 11, 2010 and arrived at the shelter in November 2010.  She’s currently in a pen with her two sisters, Amethyst and Moonstone.  Angelite is more outgoing than her sister Amethyst, but not as much as Moonstone.  She is fine with pets and being held for short periods of time, but would rather be eating!  She is friendly and full of energy and gets her nose into everything.  She’ll be a fun rabbit for a good home.

picture of jenny

   Jenny

Jenny is a gorgeous female, white Dwarf mix with blue eyes. She was about 6 months old when she arrived in January 2010 and promptly had a litter days after she came.  She's shown here with her babies, Busy and Chubby.  Jenny adapts to new environments quickly and soon takes over, lounging around like she owns the place!  She likes to climb, so she needs to be in a tall enclosure if she's confined.  She loves food, but fortunately also loves to run and jump when she's not lounging.  Jenny has good litter box habits and would make an entertaining rabbit companion for a bunny-loving home.

   Aristotle

Aristotle is a neutered male, black Satin mix. Aristotle was about 7 months old when he arrived in October 2010.  Aristotle is a mellow, sweet boy with a cute white dot on his nose.  He doesn’t mind pets and tolerates being held, but he’d rather spend his time lounging around.  He has great litter box habits. With a little work, he’ll make a fantastic friend for a fun family!

Desiree is very inquisitive and has to check out anything new around her.  She adores treats and will come running if she thinks you've got one for her!  Desiree's litter box habits are good.  She'll make a wonderful house rabbit for someone looking for an active little girl

 picture of chubby

  Chubby

Chubby is a cute white dwarf mix with blue eyes.  She was born at the shelter on January 28, 2010.  Chubby got her name because when she was a few days old, her brother Busy did all the moving while Chubby slept and got, well, chubby.  She is inquisitive but a little shy.  Chubby loves to jump and climb, so she needs to be in a tall enclosure if confined.  Her favorite hangout is on top of cardboard boxes.  Chubby doesn't mind being held and cuddled, but doesn't enjoy it very much - she'd rather be running around.  She loves pets though.  Chubby will make a fantastic house bunny for some lucky home!

   Autumn

Autumn is a spayed femaie, black and white English spot mix.  She was about 8 months old when she arrived in October 2010.  Autumn is a playful girl, full of spunk and personality.  She loves to run around, jump in the air, and be generally entertaining. She has excellent litter box habits and will make a lively and lovely addition to a great home.

 picture of mystery

  Mystery

Mystery is a dwarf silver marten who was found in the rain almost starved to death.  She was about 4 weeks old when she was brought to the shelter in March 2010.  It was touch-and-go for the first week or so - Mystery didn't want to eat or move very much for several days.  A zest for life finally entered the poor little bunny and now Mystery, who was just fur, skin, and bones when she arrived, is filling out and full of life.  Now Mystery loves food, new experiences, and people.  She loves to be cuddled and having her face rubbed.  Mystery is a miracle bunny who is looking for a home where she'll be loved and spoiled!
